Radford Animal Hospital wants to wish Happy Summer to all of our clients and their pets!

We wish to welcome Dr. Wally to our practice!!! We are very happy to have her here with us, and can't wait for you all to meet her! See the Our Staff link for more information on Dr Wally and the rest of our staff.

We also have a very important health update those of you with dogs. Unfortunately, we are seeing a dramatic increase in the incidence of Lymes disease positive results this year as its prevalence has gradually moved into this area over the past several years. Our heartworm tests at Radford Animal Hospital also test for Lymes disease and Ehrlichia canis. Please read this article for more information about Lymes disease. If you have any questions, feel free to call and talk to our doctors, or set up an appointment for a heartworm/lymes/e. canis test. We just need a small blood sample and we'll have the results for you in about 10 or 15 minutes.
